About this Experience

Want to explore downtown Mexico City and capture stunning photos for your feed? We've handpicked four gorgeous landmarks — the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Templo Mayor, the Zócalo, and more — where your expert guide doubles as your personal photographer.

After picking you up at your accommodation, head to the Palace of Fine Arts (Palacio de Bellas Artes) — Neoclassical and Art Nouveau on the outside, Art Deco on the inside. The building is most famous for its murals by Diego Rivera, as well as being the country's premier venue for the arts.

Next, a quick stop at Palacio Postal, the historic post office known for its grand eclectic architecture. Then on to the Metropolitan Cathedral, the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico — built in sections from 1573 to 1813 in the style of Spain's Gothic masterpieces.

Continue to the National Palace (Palacio Nacional) at the city's main square, the Plaza de la Constitución (El Zócalo). Finally, head to Templo Mayor and the iconic Gran Hotel Ciudad de Mexico before strolling Francisco I. Madero Avenue.
