Start the day at mid-morning with a smooth pick-up from your
accommodation. You’ll head to downtown Guadalajara, known for
its colonial-style buildings and famous landmarks, and visit
Guadalajara Cathedral and Expiatory Church, both built in the
neo-Gothic style. Admire the craftsmanship and fine details of
the churches before moving on to the next stop.
Next up is the Degollado Theater, a neoclassical Mexican theater
known for its artistic architecture. After marveling at the
theater, you’ll head to the Rotonda of the Illustrious People of
Jalisco. This mausoleum serves as a tribute to the important men
and women in the history of the state of Jalisco.
Head to Avenida Vallarta next, where you’ll visit the Minerva
Roundabout. This features a large statue of the Roman goddess
with indigenous facial features, surrounded by a circular
fountain. You’ll also visit Arcos Vallarta and Arcos del
Milenio, two iconic structures in the city that serve as great
backdrops for photos. After that, you’ll pass the stately
buildings of Expo Guadalajara and World Trade Center GDL before
heading to Avenida Chapultepec and Avenida Libertad, to view a
few grand mansions that date back to the late 1800s.
